WHO EXPERIENCED PERSONAL AND HOUSEHOLD CRIMES?

This section provides a detailed examination of the key characteristics of persons who experienced each of the crime types covered in this survey, such as age and sex, as well as key characteristics of household crimes, such as location of the incident. In addition, the degree of multiple victimisation experienced for each crime type is examined. Characteristics of the most recent incident experienced of each crime type and changes in key estimates from previous survey periods are also discussed. Comparisons of persons and incident characteristics and changes from previous survey periods have only been included where there is a statistically significant difference between the variables being compared.
